Ray
Howard
Ray is a civil engineer, with 18 years of
hands-on technical industry experience working in civil
engineering and surveying. He specialized in CAD/IT
production management and workflow improvement consulting.
He directly supported small to mid-sized consulting firms
and S&L government agencies in Georgia. Ray has spent time
as a Professional Certified Autodesk Technician and Trainer
as well as an IT Instructor teaching IT related Microsoft
and CompTIA classes.
Ray has over 27 years experience working in and around
the civil industry. From 2003 through 2012 Ray played
several management and director roles with two top Autodesk
VARs in the Southeast US. Responsibilities included
leadership, sales account management, sales management,
customer service and technical support just to name a few.
As the manager of government sales he assisted applied
software in achieving a Gold level status with their
Autodesk Government Authorization in 2009 and as a Strategic
Infrastructure Account Manager he further assisted the
company in obtaining the coveted Autodesk Reseller of the
Year Award in 2010. Ray played an instrumental role in
helping the company grow as the Manager of Inside Sales from
2011-2012 allowing for a true Inside/Outside Sales Model and
resulting in positive growth for the company. Completed IT
school in 2001 earning CompTIA A+ and Network+
Certifications as well an MCP (Microsoft Certified
Professional Certification). He has attended College for
Information Technology, Drafting Technology and Civil
Engineering related courses and continues to pursue growth
through education channels in the field of Business
