Dassault Systemes (NASDAQ: DASTY) today reported positive
financial results for the second quarter, ended June 30, 2007.
Total revenue increased 9% to €305.7 million (14% in constant
currencies); earnings per diluted share increased 24% to €0.31.
Dassault says it found strength in all geographic regions,
including Europe, and across all sales channels. Software
revenue increased 10% in constant currencies, with strength in
recurring revenue coming from new licensing activity and a
growing installed base.

Software revenue was €253.3 million, up 6%; services and
other revenue was €52.4, up 25%. By segments, PLM revenue was
€247.7 million (up 10%), of which ENOVIA revenue was €58.5
million (up 30%, and includes MatrixOne). Mainstream 3D revenue
(SolidWorks division revenue) was €58.0 million, up 4%.
By geography, revenue was €93.6 million in the Americas (up
15%), €140.8 million in Europe (up 4%) and €71.3 million in
Asia/Pacific (up 12%).
Net income was €37.9 million in the quarter, up 29%.
